ABOUT RYAN

Ryan Cassidy is a photographer in North Jersey. He received his bachelor’s in History and a minor in Anthropology from William Paterson University of New Jersey. After graduating college, Ryan purchased a Minolta SRT-101 analog camera, and the spark was ignited, where-after he went about teaching himself everything he could about the art of photography. Even as a kid, long before then, you could hear him in the background of home videos asking, "Can I take the picture?" He enjoys doing portrait work and documentary/street photography, as well as nature and architecture.

MY GEAR

For the curious; I use a combination of analog (film) and digital cameras and lenses from a variety of manufacturers.

For digital imagery, I mainly make use of the Leica M10, along with a Nikon Zf, and Nikon Df.

In terms of analog hardware, I primarily make use of my Leica M3, as well as a Nikon F6, F3, and a Mamiya M645 1000S for medium format work.

For post-processing & editing, I use Capture One 23.
